Another stupid childhood incident of Chong Yu Min...

i just remembered something to prove Chong Yu Min's super-stupid-HONESTY.
when she was still in primary school, she had to walk home from her school, about 3 bus stops away, passing by many HDB flats.
one day, while walking home as usual, she saw something on the ground. WOW, a piece of $5 note!!!
then, she felt that she MUST be honest, and she walked past the $5 note, headed home, with the $5 note picked up by other people instead.
So, let's applause for Chong Yu Min's honesty! thank you very much.

so tired today.
woke up at 3am, cos my dad had breathing difficulty and chest tightness.
went down to CGH, luckily it isnt what i thought. nothing serious actually.

went to play badminton with elaine and huiling again. =D
they came late, so i went to pay for the courts and i became ELAINE GAY =D LOL

hi, back for some updates.

last weekend was super tiring, starting from friday.
jiahui's lab people came to singapore. i met her at the airport late, and we couldnt find our way to the budget terminal. walked around the airport, just about to board the bus to the terminal and we saw her friends. heng ah.. took train to bugis> found their ulu hotel> ate lunch at some place along the tian tian huo guo street> walked to bugis street> si ma lu> back to bugis junction> walked to raffles hotel> walked to chijmes> walked city hall> walked to suntec> walked to esplanade> walked to merlion> finding some museum, cant find> walked to lao pa sak> then trained to clarke quay.
super tiring. i found that i cant really be a tour guide. i dont have the sense of direction, but luckily jiahui is worse than me. haha. she dont even know what HDB means, and she said gst is 10%. alamak!

went to work for some safra event on sat, with olsen, peggie, wong and yat. clarke quay again.. anyway the work was like super good. actually only did one hour of serious work, got $50 and 2 gv movie tickets. HAHA! limin came at dinner time. spent time sitting at the river side, waved at boats, enjoyed the screamings from the bungee, ate ice cream =DD

met peggie on sunday, for the silliest thing she ever did. my second time. =)
went to queue at st james power house for FRH fan session.
both of us were not their fans, but i won tickets from the net.
queued very early at 3.30pm, event start at 7.30pm. -_-
supposed to help my friend to queue, but the fan club people were very irritating.
rained heavily, and everyone got squashed in the queue. made friend with someone queueing. saw a auntie who is a fan of wu zun. saw a ah ma queueing too, got shocked.
went to find toilet, staff from dragonfly allowed me in, saw alan ke you lun's mini concert inside.
my sister's friend joining me dressed up so prominently, like a japanese star, everyone looking at her, cannot cut her into my queue due to her too prominent dressing, waited for cheryl's arrival, but too bad the queue was too jialat to be cut.
anyway, about a few hundreds of people squeezing onto the dancing floor, i got squashed and smelt people's armpit. cannot see the stage cos people were too tall to me. FRH came late, so i stood for 5 hours. did stunts like bending backwards as irritating people in front tried to take good photos. almost fell in the crowd, luckily peggie grabbed me on time. leg pain and back pain in the end, plus hungry.
anyway, i din take any photos. well, peggie did =)
wu zun in real person doesnt look as handsome to me. aaron got the very fang dian eyes, but i think he's quite attention seeking as he kept doing disturbing actions to cause screamings when the rest of the 3 were talking. calvin's pants was halfway zipped, peggie asked me to see before calvin announced it. jiro was okay.. but i think his necklace doesnt suit his shirt.

some unknown facts about chong yu min partII:

food habit

chong yu min hates to eat banana, because her sisters always laughed at her when she was young, saying she looked like a monkey with a banana.

chong yu min hates parsley. when she was young, her mother placed some parsley into her cup to keep the parsley fresh. due to child curiosity, chong yu min went to smell it. from that day onwards, she sweared not to touch it again. and there was also once, she accidentally ate it, and she felt nausea the whole day.

chong yu min hates sotong too. she hates the black ink that got splashed into her favourite ribena cup when she was in kindergarten. and after that she never used the cup anymore!

some unknown facts about chong yu min:

chong yu min actually hates blogging. she only blogs when she is super happy or super angry/sad.
but, she likes to read her friends' blog, cos she finds it entertaining.

chong yu min really likes S.H.E alot, especially hebe. she even dreamt of hebe a few times, and sometimes ella, but selina not even once. she thinks that hebe has the most beautiful face and voice!

chong yu min really thinks that she is too honest. >.< as from what she remembered, she only tried to steal once, which was 20 cents from her mother's coin box when she was in primary one. after that she felt guilty and sweared not to steal again. and she was also very silly to tell her mother about her bad school results EVERYTIME, and ended up getting whacked by her mother everytime, eventhough her sisters asked her to keep the bad results as a secret... -.-

super tired nowadays.
all thanks to the stupid report and the presentation slides.

i will be back in singapore in less than one month's time!
yay! cant wait to go back... but then i will miss thailand.

the mango here is like so addictive, i think i will die if i go back to singapore.
and of cos i will miss my friends here, duh.

anyway, new year is coming.
and we'll have 5 days of holiday here! HAHAHA.
actually also dunno what to do, too long already.

oh, my project, im still stuck at my stupid PCR can.
i think i can forget it liao la, sure cannot finish my project.
according to my supervisor, he at first said that it's my skills, that's why i dont get my PCR product.
so i really thought that my skills are not very good, that's why i cannot do the PCR.
but then, when he asked my lab mentor to do the PCR with me, she also failed.
so does this means there's nothing wrong with my skills, and there's something wrong with the DNA sample.
i dont like to waste my time doing on repeated things actually, i have been doing the PCR for like 100000000 times already, and the results is still the same.
so irritating.argh, stupid project.

anyway, im like kind of holiday mood since long time ago already.
i almost cannot remb what im here for.
i just keep thinking of playing.

i feel so unfilial.
my great grandma just passed away on thursday, and i dun really feel sad.
she's 100 years old already, just past her birthday for only about 10 days.
anyway, i think that her body is really to old, just like an old machine which goes haywire and finally dies off.
she finally relieves herself from the old machine, hope she's doing well in heaven.

anyway, heard a super great news.
my cousin won some award, and im like so so so proud of him.
he went to the australia defence force academy to study, representing the singapore navy.
and he graduated with the academy's most prestigious award, commander in chief medal award, where only one person can get this award. so cool la, singapore navy in australia ok! make singaporeans proud too!
im like super wow when i heard this news, cos i din realise that he's so great.
he is just like my big kor kor who likes to suan me since young.
hope this piece of news can travel to my ah ma's and my lao ma's ears.
maybe it's their blessings from heaven.

time to update..
went to alot of places for this week, that's why no update, too busy.
last friday was king's birthday, so public holiday.
went kanchanaburi for some field trip with people from xin er's lab.
they are so kind people seriously.
anyway, went to this place called promittr, a filming studio for those thai movies.
took alots of photos and all.
stayed overnight at kanchanaburi, in a resort.
the room was like a tree house, no air con, but very cold in the night.
the next day went to erawan park for waterfall in the early morning.
the place is that super nice la, i love it so much.
it's like so close to nature.
and there are 7 steps of water fall, the higher u go, the bigger the waterfall.
so we climbed all the way up the the highest waterfall.
and it was really tiring. lol.
took alot photos agn, but im too lazy to post.
after that took about 4 to 5 hours of bus back to the place im staying.
and the next day went to some sort of floating market and zoo with my fren from my lab.
super tiring i tell you, cos i had to show my supervisor powerpoint slides on my project on that following monday.
luckily he said i did rather fine, if not i would curse and swear!
den, wednesday was public holiday again.
went travelling with xin er around bangmod, the district im staying.
travelled by the 5baht mini bus, they called it subaru? i dunno wad.
went to this super big supermarket, tesco lotus. it's like the tampines gaint!
and there are alot of restaurants there too!
den today went to a night market called 61 market, somewhere near my dorm.
that place is like a mini jatujak market can, so many things to see and buy.
im like suddenly in love with thailand can...
i cant imagine if i go back to singapore, i wun have the chance to eat my favourite mango already.
and also the super sweet pineapple!
oh man!
im like already planning to buy one box of mango back to singapore!
and it's rather funny can, cos almost everyday me and xin er will go down to buy fruits from the cut-fruit store at the bus stop near our dorm
and the uncle like already know us already. just now when buying fruits, the uncle already can guess what we wanted. lol.
ok, im tired already, good bye! 

went to siam paragon again...!!!
but this time, went to meet the long time no see walaiporn!
it's like i din see her for 3 years already! oh my god, that's so long!
and actually, this is the first time i talk to her face to face like that, it sounds weird, i know.
i only talk to her through msn since secondary school, ok, more weird. maybe, just hi and bye in school.
and i din know she can speak chinese, im slow ok.
anyway, met her and went to eat cake at a restaurant, den walked around siam paragon.
seriously im like so sick of that place.
the things there are like so expensive that i dun even bother to look at them actually.
walaiporn den brought me to her family restaurant, seafood ok!
i like the prawn and the chicken dish ok.
but i dunno why she tot that i dun enjoy the food.
but nonetheless, im really thankful to her.
it's like so nice to meet a friend in a foreign country, esp a friend whom you haven met for years.

oh man, i miss singapore!
i miss my friends, family, the naughty baby in my house, my rabbit!!!
and, i also miss LOR MEE, foo ce hui!!!!

hai, stupid project
everyday i go to the lab will end up disappointed
for the past one week, i have been doing the same things over and over again.
DNA extraction, gel electrophoresis, PCR, ligation, transformation, cloning.
it's like so boring especially when the results i get are negative, which means that i have to do the procedures again.
and i really dun understand why my PCR always dun have any results.
haiya.
 

actually i wanted to do a post,
but i almost died while uploading the photos, so this post will be just words. =)
ok. ytd i went to chatuchak.
first time i took a taxi in thai can, and just me and xin er alone.
we seriously got language barrier with the taxi driver, he was talking alien language to me, and i dun understand.
and we wanted to go saphan taksin train station, and he sent us to surasak station instead. but nvm, cos it's also about the same.
anyway, chatuchak is like dunno how times bugis la. but then i din buy anything there, cos i dunno wad to buy.
went to have our meal at this dunno wad resturant, and xin er's glass noodles is like so GREEN!
the rest are ok. but mine doesnt really taste as nice.
went to see exotic animals there too.
after that went siam paragon to shop for some groceries and RICE COOKER!!!

den today went to platinum mall to continue shopping.
bought 4 t shirts, but they are like abit too small for me? but nvm, since they cost less than $5 each.
anyway, i shall talk more when i got the time to upload the photos.
so sick of uploading.
ok, i have to wake up at 6am tmr.
